The weather is cooling off and the days are getting shorter. Come and learn how to adapt your individual body type to the changes in the environment. Do you feel more tired? Is digestion a challenge? Are you experiencing a low mood as we move towards less daylight? All of these are common while moving into this season and can be minimized or eliminated. The sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda teach how to optimize health during each season. In this edition of Flow and Feast we will discuss what this ancient wisdom offers to support the change from late summer into autumn. We will also explore what organ systems and structures we should focus on and fortify this time of year as well as practical tips and tools to help you move through the remainder of fall and into the Holiday season with energy, clarity and vitality.
The session will start with gentle yoga done while standing and seated in chairs. This will be a series of postures to learn for the office, the grocery store line or any time you need to loosen up. After some movement with breath we will begin the discussion on how to make the most of autumn followed by a nutritious and delicious meal provided by Fresh 2 You Catering. All fitness levels are encouraged to participate. No prior yoga experience is required. No mats or workout
clothes are required.
