Hammonds House Honors 2020
POSTPONED!
Hammonds House Honors 2020 is postponed. Like many organizations we have had to assess where to place resources. Hammonds House Honors, even a digital version, will require more resources than the institution can expend at this moment in order to produce it the way we would like to and the way which honors the work of the artists and others who are to be celebrated.
We'll keep you posted as the institution determines how to advance this program.
About Hammonds House Honors
Hammonds House Honors is a celebration and recognition of excellence in Black visual art. In 2020 we honor nine individuals who elevate black visual art through their talent, creative expression, passion and commitment to Black artistic excellence. We also remember master printmaker, Robert Blackburn on the 100th Anniversary of his birth and the visual arts giants we have lost this year.
Hammonds House Honors 2020 will be digitally streamed across multiple platforms. As Hammonds House Museum’s annual fundraising vehicle we will provide audiences with opportunities to give throughout the event. Proceeds from Hammonds House Honors benefit museum exhibitions, education and public programs. Hammonds House Honors is powered by HHM Digital.
